Please ensure you can play MP3+G song files before purchasing a song voucher as no refunds will be made once purchased.
All karaoke digital downloads feature on-screen lyrics (words) on a compatible karaoke player/device complete with backing music along and cover chorus line backing vocals (only if the original version of the song featured them)
All songs are professionally recreated in the style of the original version in the original key and do not feature any original artist vocals or any video clips whatsoever.
You can purchase another download song voucher during business hours from VIC Karaoke Productions (NZ) or call +64223890745.
You have 15 days to complete the download of songs once checked out before the download links expire, this cannot be extended so we highly recommend you download your songs immeditately after making your selection.
Your song credit is valid for 12 months from the date you checkout your first song and cannot be extended, any unused song credit after expiry is automatically forfeited. You can download one song at a time or as many songs at a time until your credit has been fully used.
All expiry dates are shown clearly on the My Downloads page and no expiry reminders are sent out. We recommend that you save a copy of your downloaded songs on your pc as a private backup, before transferring songs to your chosen karaoke device.
All song files are zipped for faster downloading and must be unzipped prior to being used.
The single zipped file containing your downloaded song has in it two files one for the karaoke lyrics (.cdg) and the audio file (.mp3) and they are named 100% the same, except for the file extension (.cdg) and (.mp3) at the very end, if you change the name of the song file they must both be titled the same or it will not work.
your_song.cdg
your_song.mp3
Both files must be transferred to your MP3+G Player/Machine/PCDJ Software (PCDJ Karaoki Software packages can play Zipped song files) as both files are played at the same time, together they are a MP3+G song file and provide both the audio and on-screen lyric component, otherwise you will just get the MP3 audio file as a backing track.
You can also convert your MP3+G song files (aka Audio+G Files) into CDG Karaoke (aka .Bin files) to make your own Karaoke Disc if you don't have a MP3+G compatible player.
Please do not re-purchase the same song in an attempt to fix a download issue (i.e. corrupt file), as this will only result in you using up song credit which cannot and will not be reimbursed to you due to licensing issues.
You can attempt multiple re-downloads of same song file from your My Orders & Download Songs, but if the fault continues please contact support so we can investigate and fix the issue, so you can then re-download the working track.
All digital downloads sales are 100% final and once purchased due to copyright and licensing reasons will not and cannot be changed whatsoever, so please choose your songs carefully.
Any faulty tracks can and will only be replaced with exactly the same song and version originally purchased.
1. Download Songs purchased songs to your Windows® based PC.
If you're a Apple® Mac user see link below "Downloading via Apple® Mac PC" for special instructions.
2.Unzip songs on your PC, free program available if you don't have a unzipping program on your PC.
3. Each zipped song file contains two files, make sure you copy both files; karaoke lyrics (.cdg) and the audio file (.mp3) for playback on your karaoke player/machine/device, to either a USB Memory Stick, SD Card or Hard Drive whatever your device uses.
If you only transfer one file it will not work correctly as both files are played at the same time.
4. Now your songs are ready to play in your karaoke player/machine/device.
If you experience an issue where the file doesn't display the lyrics but you hear the audio track, you should reformat your USB in a computer to "Fat 32 File Format" and then place the songs back on.
Sometimes renaming both files (.mp3) and (.cdg) can also resolve these issues.
Also make sure no other file types are on the USB i.e. like word documents etc as this can cause playback issues.
The Magic Sing ET-23KH and ET-28KH models are the only Magic Sing models produced by Enter-Tech which are capable of MP3+G Karaoke song playback via the front USB port.
Playback is easy and fast from a USB memory stick connected to the front of the unit then push the APP button on the microphone or remote control and select "CD+G Karaoke" from the on screen menu and the songs will appear for instant playback in a menu list.
Songs listed as Multiplex (MPX) will playback on the ET-23K/ET28KH with full cover vocals so you can sing-along, you cannot switch off the lead vocals though so choose the standard version of the song if you don't want full vocals. During MP3+G playback you cannot change the Key or Tempo of the song.
Your digital order is licensed and royalty paid by Karaoke Home Entertainment to APRA/AMCOS (Australia & New Zealand) and to each of the respective karaoke content providers for use on one karaoke system only.
To ensure each karaoke system has a digital licensed copy of each karaoke song you must enter the number of karaoke systems your chosen song/s will be used upon.
The default setting is one (1) for one (1) karaoke system and uses one (1) song credit to purchase that one (1) song. Each additional karaoke system the same song is used upon will also be charged one (1) song credit.
i.e. 1x Karaoke Song for 3x Karaoke Systems = 3 song credits used.
This will ensure each of your karaoke systems have their own unique licensed digital copy of each song purchased, otherwise your user license will be null and void in its entirety.
